U.S. makes final anti-dumping review on barium carbonate in China
On January 21, 2009, the US International Trade Commission issued a notice to make a final decision on the anti-dumping sunset review of barium carbonate softeners originating in China. The six members of the United States International Trade Commission voted unanimously that if the anti-dumping measures against barium carbonate originating in China are cancelled, it will likely cause damage to the U.S. domestic industry within the foreseeable period or will occur again. Therefore, The anti-dumping measures continue to be implemented.
On October 25, 2002, the US Department of Commerce conducted an anti-dumping investigation on barium carbonate adhesives originating in China. The customs code of the product involved was 28366000. On August 6, 2003, the US Department of Commerce made a final decision on this case, China The dumping margin of the enterprises involved is 34.44%~81.30%. On September 2, 2008, the United States Department of Commerce conducted an anti-dumping sunset review investigation.
